It's important that we act NOW.The tortoises in Calaforrnia's Mojave Desert are in danger of being moved due to three solar power plants that are intended to be put where they live. This is definetly NOT fair! The tortoises were there first, and they are endangered. Plus,many of the tortoises will probably die. Is that what you people want? The company that intends to build these power plants, BrightSource Energy, thinks they will be doing a good thing because they'll be giving thousands of people jobs, and be helping the enviorment. But in truth, they'll also be destroying part of the enviorment. Is that what you want? I think not. Unless, of course your some sort of evil jerk face person who wants to destroy every living thing. Back to the problem on hand. We MUST save these tortoises. You can help by writing letter, starting a petiton - we already have one going, just comment by giving you first name and your first intial to you last - anything you think will help.
